Product Description

Ceramic Fiber Cloth is a high-temperature woven fabric manufactured from premium alumina-silica ceramic fibers, reinforced with either fiberglass filament or stainless steel wire for maximum strength.

Key Technical Specifications

• Operating Temperature Limits:

  • Continuous Service Temperature: Up to 1000℃-1260℃ (1832°F-2300°F)

  • Short-Term Peak Temperature:  Up to 1400°C (2550°F)

• Reinforcing Insert Types:

  • Glass Filament Reinforced: Ideal for electrical insulation; rated up to 650°C (1200°F)

  • Stainless Steel (SS 304/310) Wire Reinforced: Retains maximum mechanical strength at elevated temperatures up to 1000°C (1832°F)

• Chemical Composition: Typically ~45–48% Al₂O₃  (Alumina) and 52-55%SiO2 (Silica).

  Key Features & Physical Properties

  1. High Thermal Resistance & Low Thermal Conductivity: Excellent thermal shock resistance; withstands sudden temperature fluctuations without cracking or degrading.

  2. Chemical Resistance: Highly resistant to most corrosive chemicals, acids, and alkalis (except hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid, and concentrated alkalis).

  3. Low Heat Storage: Minimizes energy loss during heating cycles in industrial kilns and furnaces.

  4. Mechanical Durability: Flexible, easily cut, stitched, and shaped into custom shapes, jackets, or expansion joints.
